Today in Civil War History- Confederate Spy Arrested

July 29th, 1862 Confederate Spy Gets Arrested    Confederate spy Marie Isabella “Belle” Boyd was arrested by Union troops and taken to Old Capitol Prison in Washington, DC. She was arrested two more times before the war ended.
